OMG, my pet prehistoric gigantic house fly is stepping on dangerous toes. The fight for computer rights is on!!

Here comes the tarantula now!

Look out! That spider looks pretty mad! You better stop preening and start running!

Didn't you hear me??

I said, "RUN!!!"

Do it NOW!!!

You have about 2 seconds to MOVE IT!!

I can't look! Can't take it!

Oooooooh nooooOOOH!  WAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

Just fooling! They're buddies really and just putting on a show just for you! LOL! Both were a lot of fun to knit.

Those are GREAT!  My husband is an exterminator and would love the fly!  (He's scared of spiders, believe it or not!)

Oh dear I am terrified of spiders.  Shocked  I could hardly scroll down to read your lovely story.  And the red-kneed bird-eating spider is my absolute nightmare.  Well done. He is simply amazing. So realistic.

I have a mexican red knee tarantula (well I have 3). The name is Brachypelma smithi. A very beautiful and docile species. Tarantulas are my biggest hobby. I think I'm a long way from being able to knit one though. I'm at the garter stitch scarf stage LOL!

Those are AWESOME! Were they difficult to make? I am not a very advanced knitter (more of a crocheter) but these are just so cool.

Thanks guys, he is something else. I got him crouching on top of my TV so it always looks like he's getting ready to pounce. Try waking up in the middle of the night and seeing in the dim light this huge spidery shadow on your wall. Yikes!
