I think I'm going to make the envelopes. I just hope I understand which size they are. I think they are the size of a large birthday card, correct? Tongue

Any who-I'll figure it out!!!

I think that's right - I spent about an hour yesterday looking at envelopes to see the size. I don't think it will fit a piece of 8.5 x 11" paper folded in half - I think it's a bit smaller than that. I think I will make the envelope out of wallpaper, so it's sturdy enough for international mailing.

Here are the "standard" USPS envelope sizes.  It's from https://www.usps.com/ship/first-class.htm?

A5 is pretty close in size to our 6x9 bubble mailers, if I understand correctly.

From what I have found on several websites, A5 is the size of A4 paper folded in half. It is about 148 X 210 millimeters which is about 5 7/8 X 8 1/4 inches. BUT an envelope to hold this size looks like it's called C5. C5 measures 229 x 162 mm which is about 6 2/5 x 9  inches.

A search for "diplomat sized" envelopes came up with 5 3/4 x 8 3/4 inches. Apparently it's also A9. Metric was given as 146.1 x 222.3 millimeters. I will be going with this size since it looks like it fits with USPS size-wise and it's a little bigger than A5 but still fits in with the 1st post up front Smiley
Thanks for the chart, dewshinesdopp!
