(tantalizing thumbnail)

So I got this cabinet for free from work:

And I bought some paper from www.paper-source.com

And I Mod Podged it and ended up with this:

It is 2 feet square, and I think I'm going to put lotions and perfume and jewelry in it, you know, girly stuff.

You did a fantastic job of giving this piece new life - very pretty and well done!  I will have to look around and see if I can find something similar - I would love to make one of these - I would use it for fabric - mainly fat quarters storage!

Gad, what an ugly piece that was before you spiffed it up!  The re-do is amazing.

This is such a cool idea! I wonder if it would work with all of the scrapbooking paper I have? I have a lot because my mom thinks "I will never scrapbook, I like sewing" means "buy me more paper please"

Yeah, you can Mod Podge with almost any type of paper! What I used was actually wrapping paper. It is high-quality wrapping paper, but still not as thick as most scrapbook paper. If you use thicker paper, you won't have as many wrinkles as I did. I have tons of scrapbook paper too, and I almost never do any scrapbooking, but I use the paper for all sorts of decorative projects instead.
