I did a little refashion project with a skirt that I op-shopped a few weeks ago.

I loved the pattern, but as soon as I tried it on I knew I wanted to turn it into a dress.

Here's how it looked after ten minutes of sewing & a piece of elastic.

Apologies for the lack of nice after pictures & general poor hygiene. I've been in bed with laryngitis for most of the week, and this was the most active I got. If you're interested in more photos & a bit of a mini-tutorial I wrote one here: http://owlobsessedoddity.blogspot.com.au/2012/06/diy-how-to-turn-dowdy-skirt-into-cute.html

Very cute! Much more flattering as a dress, love it!

Thanks guys! It looks even cuter when I'm well enough to actually dress it up nice, lol.
