I saw a woman at the craft store looking at the yarn that is just a piece of lace that is crocheted into a scarf.  I told her I would buy some curtain fabric and cut it apart and use it to make a scarf and save money.  So I just had to go home and try it.  So here is my scarf.

The only downside to this is that I had to piece together the fabric but it was just at the back of the neck where it didn't show.  It cost $3.00 to make, I haven't washed the scarf yet so we will see if it holds up.  If you would like more information I posted a sort of how to on my blog.

I'd love to see what others make of this idea please leave comments or post on my blog.

Thanks
Lois

It looks pretty. I would love to see a pic of it being worn  Smiley

Thanks, I will get another picture my boyfriend just left with the camera!  The edges of the scarf could be neater but I think it is lovely.  I have about 30 scarves but I think this will become a favorite.

Thanks for looking!
