Just finished my first bag.  What fun!

For those that asked about the angles on the triangle flaps, I found that the stick-out point is a 95 degree angle, the small one near the top of the bag is 25 degrees, and the other at the bag bottom is 60 degrees (on the 2.75" side).  Get out the old protractor (or borrow one from your father!) when you make your paper pattern and draw the angles and it should be good.
