I bought this wooden sewing box at a second hand shop and decided it needed a makeover.
In high school my mum bought me the Encyclopaedia of Science Fiction, but it is sadly out of date now. I decided to use the cover illustrations of novels to decorate my sewing box with! I love how it turned out, and recognised quite a  few of the covers as books that I have read in the last 10 years or so. Are there any of your favourite novels featured on my sewing box?

What a way to build up your box. I like the way you've done the inside too: It's make me want to open it up more often.

I love this! It was a pretty cool box to begin with, and your decoupage makes it awesome.

I actually have a jewelry tool box I might be inspired to decorate, now. I just need to find some equally cool images to use--trade paperback book covers really used to be a lot more interesting than they are now.

It's bad enough wasting time, without killing it.
