I work in a preschool and I ask for and receive donations of paper and other recyclables. I whipped up this card today using only things found in my office:

card and envelope from a parent's law firm
white copy paper
two pieces of origami paper (Don't you keep origami paper at your desk?)
scrap of brown paper bag

Oh, and I printed "#1 Dad" on the back of a mistake copy.

Detail of the arm and mug - I just cut and pasted, nothing fancy.



Sorry the pictures don't show all the folds and creases.

And my dad is retired, hasn't worn a tie in 20 or so years and doesn't drink coffee. But you know, it was the first  dad-like image that came to me.
