There's a product called Liquid Beadz that  does this kind of thing. They have clear micro beads - the beads and the glue are already mixed together - you just use a palette knife to apply.

this sounds like a great way to decorate a cell phone. my friend glued rhinestones on her cellphone, but then she broke it. =( with so much handling, the microbeads might lose their shine very quickly though. but if there's a comic book image underneath it, i think it would still look cool, no?

I covered a light switch with microbeadz for a swap. Here it is...........



I had a hard time finding microbeadz too. The craft supply store said they did not have any but I was able to find some on the scrapbooking isles.
