it has been a WHILE since i have posted any poppets, and that is because i have been obsessing over this one for a really long time.  i got to the point on several occasions, where the thought of poppeting made me want to throw things.

a while back, i had a giveaway, and the winner was very specific about what she wanted her poppet to look like...her.  it was a super good thing, because i get all weird over every little detail, and she was great with sending me pictures and chatting with me so that together we would be able to make an awesome mini-her.  i hand painted the eyes, made the wig out of wool ease, and i even did some teeny-tiny tattoos!!!!  LOADS and LOADS of trial and error on this one.

so...no more talky-talky...on to the pics!!!

here's a little collage...

thanks for having a look!!!

depending on the doll's personality, i cut them different each time.  i will usually cut a circle that is about the same size as the eye, and then cut that circle in half.  then i cut accordingly, sometimes making the half circle shaped more like a crescent.  then i am SUPER careful with the E6000, covering the entire back side of the eyelid, then when applying, i make sure not to get any adhesive on the plastic eye.  a lot of the time i have to continually press down on the eyelid.

i hope that makes sense, lol!!! Grin
