Very nice and your fabrics are great!  A little piece of that foamy drawer liner under the weight will help to keep it from slipping.

There are free tutorials available for projects like this on the internet, too.  I like to make my bag removable so it can be emptied more easily.  Buttons or velcro tabs make that possible.  I have one on the sofa and you'd be amazed how handy it comes in! And how quickly I can fill it, too.   Grin
