My bf recently recieved a couple of these shirts in the mail and gave me one. I figured what better way to show my support then to make a cute shirt i can actually wear. I orginally wanted to do a no sew reconstruction, but i eventually took in the sides by an inch to make it more fitted. I did a weave/ladder on the back along with knotting. I also knotted the sleeves to give it a softer look, thick sleeves weren't cute. When I gain weight its usually my hips first, so to make sure it will continue to fit if I gain weight I left the ends on the sides seperate so I can tie them together to fight my hips.

knotted slit sleeves

Knotted side to make room if needed, also acts as a nice band around my hips

The back isn't really crooked like this, I had my hand on my hip and it pulled the shirt while taking the pic. I needed a little extra fabric taken in so I decided to know the slits after weaving them.

I love the way you've done the back, it looks really special.
