My son (age 6) has been admiring my hooplas that I receive in swaps, and has often lamented that I don't let him help.  Today, he made his very own light-saber.  He is super proud of it, and asked that it be put on his own "hoopla wall".

ADORABLE!!!  I used to do all sorts of craftyness with my nephew, I'm sure if I was involved in swapping hoopla's at the time he would have been all over it.  He's an official teenager now and I'm in another state, so we have no more crafty time  , but he's my little bud.

He's working on a Jedi Order symbol.  He is actually starting to learn that smaller stitches fill in the spaces a LOT better, and neater as well...but that they take longer
