It's a wonderful book if you like fairy tales (and not necessarily sweet romanticised ones). It was written in the 1920's

oh--wow--I just assumed that the mushrooms on her mantel were small...what a nice size...it is such a lovely piece, foxyblue...and so much to look at...I just love it!
