I received my package from scarlet_nights on Saturday, but I've been ill so I haven't taken pictures.    Sorry!

No more waiting though, here are my goodies.



Everything together!  Pretty hand-stitched pillowcases (I'm so excited, I've always wanted fancy pillowcases!  ), lovely hand-beaded necklaces in a style taught to her by her great-grandmother (they look awesome on but I fail at action shots), vintage jewelry, vintage hankies, and vintage napkins (I think?  They're awfully big and thick for hankies...whatever they are they're really pretty!)

The hankies, presided over by Roxie.    I love the anchors because they're cute, but I love the pink lace equally because it is a mystery (says Mexico, stamped Florida).

yay Im glad you liked everything. I think they are napkins, they were in the trunk where I keep my vintage linens. The hankies belonged to my dads mother, when he was in the army he always sent her hankies and pillow covers from wherever he was. I have a huge bog of the hankies so I thought Id share the love, the pink one is a mystery to me as well

haha, you're welcome How Lovely....it took so long to get there, I had to make sure it was worth the wait!  

I was quite lucky that the second hand bookstore at Greenwich had a heap of The Studio magazines for sale, plus as the person in charge of the jewellery and accessories stall at my Great Aunt's church fete, I get dibs on all the donations. This year we had some super cool items from a lady who must have done a lot sewing for debutante balls in the 50s and 60s.

I love those Olympics bookmarks and the notecards and the ribbons and that flower...is it a broach or an earring that's lost it's mate? Those gloves look super-nice too! Are the hankies vintage or did you make them, PlumCrafty? What a nice deal that you get first crack at the donations!
