Slouchy Hat

Fall is my favorite time of year and even the slightest hint of cooler weather gets me excited!  We had a few cool nights a week or two ago so I had an itch to make myself a cute hat.  Plus my boyfriend and I are going 'leaf peeping' in Vermont over Columbus Day weekend so I need a hat!  Isn't that the cutest term, I never heard that before until I started looking into the trip 
I found this pattern on ravelry, http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tante-pose  It looked pretty cute and fairly simple.  I ended up using a hook one size up and chained 65 in the beginning. I followed the rest of the pattern as written.  I first used a different yarn, it was kind of an off white color but it was waaay too stiff and had horrible drape.  So I started over with this scarlett red color that I had plenty left of.
I love it and I can't wait for when it's cold enough to wear!!
