Brackish Potato

My sister-in-law recently had a baby boy and I thought he deserved his own hand-made blankie. Plus I needed a challenge Cheesy and this project was a lot of fun. I love the textures of this blanket and the intersting patterns. I used this pattern on Ravelry.

I used Bernat Baby Coordinates Yarn because my friend's son has a baby blanket made of the stuff and she says it's virtually indestructible. I like the way it looks but it was difficult to work with because it's a sort of boucle and the wispy bits kept getting caught on my hook (I used an H).

It's cushy soft and my sil loves it so that's a win!

I love giving blankets as presents. Smiley I made my son like a million and other people I know having babies are all getting one. Smiley

I love the color and the stitching is so pretty.

This is so lovely I adore the pattern and the yarn you chose is so great and soft. I want to curl up with this blanket for sure.

Gorgeous   you did an awesome job.   I can't crochet with that yarn   too bumpy like you say   and I can't see where to go
