Today is the big Kamehameha Day parade in Honolulu, and my husband (a tuba player) is marching...  He asked me to paint his plastic mouthpiece for the occasion. 



Technically, the state flower is the yellow hibiscus, but the band's colors are red and yellow, so we thought this would work.



Simple enough, but I think it adds a nice touch!
