This big ol' mirror is just waiting for grout.  I'm thinking of a very light grayish, nothing too dark, I don't want to drown out the forest green.

I've had suggestions for plum, too....I......dunno ...

Because I *refuse* to grout indoors (I'm a slob)...and I live in Michigan, looks like I have a couple of weeks to decide.

I'll post followup pics after it's grouted!

OK...WHAT COLOR GROUT??!?!?!

Karen

If you have a larger image of the mirror, I have a way to test various colors for the grout. I can take the image and test the colors you would like, then post the pictures. It is the best way I know to see what appeals to your eye best.

Great looking mirror mosaic by the way! Smiley

I was thinking plum before I read that you had gotten a suggestion for it, hehe. I love the colors in your mosaic and I think the plum grout would really add to the piece, not distract from it. Gorgeous work as always!

I like white grout on pieces like this one. It really shows off the glass that way. Now if white is too stark for the room you are planning to hang this work of art, then maybe tone it down some with a bit of beige/brown acrylic paint.

Black grout is also a favorite of mine but you can sometimes loose the darker colored glass when you use such a dork grout.

I think tan would look very nice with the green and soft gray-blue.It already looks quite nice against the wood.

i think you should use a contrasting color grout to bring out the color of the glass. turquoise? pale green? or yellow. i think complimenting the color of the glass would look cooler than using a color that blends in with everything else

Bery nice mirror!!
For the grout ... what about a pinkish color that would match the crystal that is between the green and the plum??
Looking forward to see it done

Blessings

My personal taste is to make grout as inconspicuous as possible, so I'd be tempted to make it a white/off white as PinkyK suggested, or the same as the palest colour of tile - which judging by your photo is a light greeney grey.

Of course, that's just my personal taste, so ymmv :-)  I'd love to see another photo of it when you've finished!
