We are having a nine hour drive to vacation next week, and I want to take some crafty stuff in the car to work on. I didnt want my scissors poking around in my bag so I wanted to make up something to put them in. Ive seen those cute quilted zippered ones around, but didnt want to spend the time or have the time to make up one of those. So felt it was! I machine stitched around and then blanket stitched to give it a little more character. There is a velcro closure with a button sewn on for looks.

I was thinking about doing up a tutorial after I see how it holds up on the trip if anyone is interested.

Thanks for looking! Smiley

Nice job - and I really like the blanket stitch around the edges!

There's a Craftster Scouts badge for that project - I just need to think of a name for it.
Great job.
