OOOOOOO!

Have you seen this guy?  I made one YEARS ago and he still delights me.  I sewed his neck differently so it wouldn't be as floppy.

I think I shall make him a friend...

Did you knit the giant monkey?  I saw a knitting pattern for that monkey but I thought it would be tiny!

Nope the giant monkey was a gift from my little bro,he was (might still be) the mascot for a television network in the uk.

Apparently the original monkey was designed and made by the people at Sirdar.

Heres the link to the patten if anyone feels like makeing him.

Sadly Monkey (Moonkeh) is no longer the mascot for ITV Digital, as they went under a while back. I heard the original monkeys are quite valuable now, so maybe worth looking after. Hell, he's so cool, it's worth hanging on to anyway!

Mr Dangly is also totally awesome.

My poor mister dangly has been hanging out without limbs for far too long. They're all finished, I just need to sew em on! Oh, and I made him a scarf last night! I might still put a pipe cleaner down his neck (that sounds so violent!) but the scarf will help too, I hope!

Fuzzy Monkey/Target $1 bin yarn poster... can't remember your name.... did you knit that on very tiny needles? I've picked up 6 already, just to have on hand -they are *really tiny balls*! I bought the fabu Red/Orange color, and I'd gladly pick up more to make a fuzzy monkey. It just seemed like there's NO way it'd work up to anything as big as Mr. Dangly is!

I finished my acrylic worsted Mr. Dangly, so pictures are soon to come but Nutella I also bought some Target yarn and I was wondering what needle size too.. I can't wait to start my fuzzy monkey! Grin
