I've decided that I want to create a letterbox, and that meant I finally had to take the bull by the horns and carve a stamp for the box. I tried lino cutting years ago in art class, but I really don't have much experience beyond that.

The picture is a bit dark, but I'm happy! It came out sort of like I imagined and I remembered to cut away from fingers and other squishy body parts... I used something called soft cut and it was fairly easy to carve.

What a gorgeous wee stamp. I love it. And it doesn't show that this is your first time carving in ages.
