Today I started working on the pile of crystal pearls I had leftover from my niece's wedding.  I named the necklace Gracie after the niece who inspired it.  Of all the large crystals I got for the wedding I think the checkerboard faceted is my favorite, it also has a slight twist to it.  The scary part is that I made this with just some of the loose pearls I had.  There are unopened packages of 250 left.  So I really have to start making some more jewelry.  The necklace is lovely, nothing like a classic piece of jewelry.  Here are some pictures.

Thanks for looking!  I appreciate any comments!

I have taken on a personal challenge to be creative everyday.  Today is day 18.

I love the simplicity of this and I think you chose the crystal perfectly.

Thanks everyone for the complements.  I'm thinking of making the necklace a double strand of pearls.  Sometimes it is hard to know when to stop!
