Fab Origami Shoes

[Mountains and Clouds]

I was working on this project for a fellow craftster when I realized it fits right into the theme of this challenge!



I wanted to alter a pair of very high heels.... and what better to do it with than origami?
I decided I wanted a repeating design pattern, and chose hearts!  Then folded and folded and folded and folded....





And after starting to put the origami hearts on the shoes I realized I had to go back and do a lot more folding! (haha!)

When the shoes were finally covered, I sprayed them with many many layers of shellac to help protect them!



I used red, white, black, silver foil, and red foil origami paper.
