First, I want to thank Harlan for teaching me great tricks of needle felting. They are very helpful! Thank you thank you!

I'm very new to needle felting. Mr. Panda is my 4th project so far. Because of the giants in my house, the other 3 didn't end up well (RIP Ms. Sheep, Miss Hedgedog, and Mr. Polar bear). I hope Mr. Panda can survive longer...  Roll Eyes

Meet Mr. Panda. He is size of a quarter  Cheesy

Mr. Panda's first encounter with the giants. As expected, the giants showed great interest in him. Not good, not good.

Giant #1: Oh, new victi... eh, I mean, new friend...  Tongue

Giant #2: Hummm... Let's see, what shall I do to you... Cool

Thank you Belladune  Cheesy

I made a mistake with Mr. Panda. Panda should have black arms. But it was too late when I realized that... Also the red hat is supposed to be a top hat. It took me an hour to get the right shape, but then I don't know how to attach it to Mr. Panda's head. So I added some more red fiber around the edge and oops... It looked so weird but I cannot fix it Lips sealed

He's so CUTE!!!! =^..^=

The way to attach a top hat is to add just a bit of fiber where the brim meets the crown and needle there - not at the edge of the brim. I bet you could flatten out the brim by needling where the crown (upright part of the hat) and brim meet. It's a great hat as it is and matches his bowtie!!!

Glad that I was of some help too!!  Cheesy

Thank you again Harlan! I KNEW there is a proper way to attach the top hat!  Cheesy I will try to use your tip and see if it can be fixed. That is, IF I can find out where the giants have hidden Mr. Panda  Lips sealed
