Journal for a month Round 2 - The gallery of awesome

I received an amazing package full of goodies from PromisedHeartbrk today. I have a bunch of photos so I will do two posts.

First up, we both used 3-ring binders and created each page as the month went on. Mine is covered with Day of the Dead fabric, felt on the inside:



So many fun techniques and cool lettering and I haven't even read that much of it but here are a few favorite bits:

A fold-out quotes page with a pocket including more:



Recipes - great idea, wish I had thought of this!



(My coworker's daughter, aged 8, saw this page and she said immediately "Can we make these?" That's my girl!)

And there are about 5 of these TOTALLy cool Teesha Moore-inspired collages. LOVE THEM!

This is the gorgeous journal, and check out the little guy she made me!! Amazing! She sent some lollipops and chocolate pretzels too, but my family demolished those while watching England getting kicked out of the Euros last night!! ( )



Each page has lots of writing and cool illustrations.
