pretty nifty map covering it, i found it cute that my location was on the front and hers was on the back (not sure if it was done on purpose but i thought it was neat)

Yes, it was intentional. You will notice that the Midwest is missing and so is the South - sorry United States!

Don't worry, it always happens...things I send arrive quicker than those I receive, even if my partners send before me (like in our case)

I was commenting to a British friend that something she sent me was mangled and that she should use sturdier envelopes to send. I complained that the USPS was slashing budgets and that mail was slow and mishandled - or at least it is my experience. She said the same is happening in the UK and that since schedules were reduced, that it is taking longer for stuff to move.

The crafted item I received were some lovely Handmade Stamps Cheesy I was admiring the handmade stamped images throughout the journal and now I have some of my own Cheesy

The sweetest Bread Necklace!! Did you make this M&C? It's adorable and so tiny!!

Oh that page with the circles and goals is so interesting!
How have those stamps been coloured? Is it watercolour or pencil? The effect is sweet

I believe I colored in the stamps with alcohol markers (off-brand copics!).  I've been playing around with them a lot lately!

Yay!  I'm glad the package arrived safely!
And I did make the bread necklace.... it's polymer clay (you can "paint" it before you bake with pastel chalk dust....) and just a wooden disk I drilled a hole in!  It was kind of experimental, but I like how it turned out.

This was such a fun swap!  I want to make more journals!!!

There's some amazing stuff showing up in this gallery. My journalling efforts pale in comparison.

This is just a fly-by stop. Some poor sucker (me) has a 4am start at work... gotta get some sleep now, or I'll pass out over the keyboard. Next big status update coming within 24 hours.

OMG, wait till you see the epic package I got from IsikkahJai!

Lots of little wrapped things, plus some extras - a handpainted owl button (with a Labyrinth quote), some peacock feather earrings, and delicious lollies:

(It's not Altoids in that tin, it's Godiva truffles! OMG, soooo good!)

A gorgeous hand bound fabric covered journal full of collage, and bright colourful layouts

The "small" - three Labyrinth themed TM patches - I love these but they were impossible to photograph with justice

And last, but certainly not least, an "extra" of sorts. IsikkahJai and I did a personal swap a little back, and she sent her half in the package with my journal...

wait for it...

it's...

a...

FREAKING POPPET!

How gorgeous is this? I'm so sad I'm not a professional photographer with a lightbox and proper camera, this does not do a smidge of justice. From her ample corset encased cleavage to her epic purple dreads, her elfin ears and seed bead jewellery, I LOVE her!
My 4yo son wanted to call her "A mermaid", my 8yo son wanted to call her Jessica  Wink and Miss 6 wanted to call her Ruby. We settled on Amethyst, or Amy for short, since rubies are red.

Then Master 8 asked if he could have a red one, and call her Ruby...  Roll Eyes He's got hopes!

Thankyou so much IsikkahJai for a wonderful package, it's all so fantastic!
