So here is the Hello Kitty quilt I just made. I bought the panel and it was so big, I decided to just buy 1m for the back and quilt it.
It was really easy to quilt. I did the entire thing in a few hours. Blue on the front, pink on the back and I just traced the pictures.
I added some grass blades and clouds in the empty spaces to quilt it together a bit better, but there wasn't much empty space that needed it. I used scrap fabric for the binding and finished the whole thing in about 7 hours.
Sorry the pictures aren't great.

I love projects from just a couple of pieces that can be personalized by the quiting process.

The "extra" quilted clouds really caught my eye.  I only wish I could see the grass blades better.

I got the panel from My sewing room. It's the name of a quilt store in Calgary. I work there. But I did see it on Etsy under Hello Kitty panel. All the pictures show a bit of the grass, but it doesn't show up well because I did the grass in light blue thread too.

will ship internationally, but I dint see this panel there. They have a different Hello Kitty panel with a guitar. The back fabric is available though, or on etsy (it's cheaper).
