Just got a great package from chibilightangel, all covered with postage stamps of the Calgary Stampede and Franklin the Turtle. As I was opening it I thought "These are the best-smelling rubber stamps ever!" But it turned out not to be the stamps I could smell.

She included a lovely bar of home-made soap! And two great stamps, which look eerily familiar. Now, I don't think I put "Celtic knotwork" or "monograms" on my topics list, so it's just freakily cool that chibilightangel and Elyxandra both sent me one of each.

Thanks for these lovelies!

Only one more left to arrive.  Sad

I love the crackly background stamp! So many cool stamps!

All the stamp work is lovely. The expression and the juice squirting from that little lime/lemon from angelxwing are kind of making me giggle a little.

I love personal swaps!

I'm loving that poor lemon/lime!

Plus, celtic knots rock my socks.

I handcarve stamps, knit and have organic catnip.

I received from hgddm!

Check out this beautiful celtic knot.  She said it was a bear to make, so many curves.  I think it turned out just right--artistically rustic and beautiful.

Thanks, hgddm!   Grin

I received my package from chibilightangel on Friday!

I was so excited that she sent me not just one, but TWO ampersands - my all time favourite typographic character Smiley
Sadly, I didn't notice until after that the ink bled a little on the paper I selected, but I'll be using these a lot Smiley

I also received a beautiful bar of hand-made soap - like Wulf I was baffled by the AMAZING smell coming from the envelope when I opened it.

Can anyone recommend a good brand of ink/inkpad to use? I think mine might not be that great.

Thank you chibilightangel - I'm going to put these on display in my typecase Smiley

I've received all of my stamps! First I received from artmomto5 - a double-sided stamp.

Next, I received from angelxwing - one carved on an eraser.

Today I received from jtlhmmwabodf - 3 stamps

A huge thank you to all of my partners! Smiley
