My art box....

I have a old pencil box that one of the girls used at school just hanging around the house.  I put my art stuff in it like colored pencils and charcoal pencils.

I thought this would be the project for Craftster... how fitting a art   box to decorate with paper..

First I ripped up pieces of pastel computer paper.  I then glued them to the box with mod podge.  I added some darker blue tissue paper for a little pop here and there.    I then added some paper dollies that I cut the center out of and put on the ends of the box.

I made a pink flower with heart shapes.
I started quilling some paper.  I did see a quilling butterfly on pinterest but mine didn't work out right.   so I just used a picture from a magazine and a sticker.  But I like the curly things when I saw them by my flower thought cool thats what I will do,  Don't love it when the disorganizing of just having things lay around on the table produce a cool design???

this is my art box to create <3

What an amazing mish-mash of bits and pieces, which still have a coherent whole.

What a good way to make an old meh box into something lovely! It is also a great way to not only remind you to create, but that you are creative!
