So, I made this for my swap partner in the matchbox swap, and she got it at last so I can post it now.

Nudey pin-up stamp!  Hand-carved using a large, sharp-pointed embroidery needle---I find I have much more control when I use something sharp and pointy like that as a carving tool (as opposed to "official" lino-carving tools, that I always mess up with!  Roll Eyes)  (Click on link above to see the tool I used.)

I'm going to use the same drawing to make myself a copy...and am hoping to create a whole series of nudey pin-up stamps!   Grin

This is awesome!

You handled the foreshortening very well and she looks so sly with that little gaze of hers.

You've done a beautiful job! I'll have to try an embroidery needle next time I attempt to carve stamps.

I make sure it's a sharp one, then pretend it's a very very teeny blade.  I can get very accurate details with a needle that way.   Cheesy

Nice!  Who says we need to use 'traditional' tools for carving stamps? I'll have to poke around my craftroom for more 'tools' to work with! Grin
