Today I made this lovely necklace.  I used red agate, Italian marble and gold glass pearls.  The marble and red agate strands didn't look good together.  But something told me the colors would mix beautifully.  What it needed was lots of gold and space.  So I separated each bead with a gold pearl.  Also I made the wire wraps a bit bigger.  It came out quite lovely.  They remind me of autumn grapes.  Thank you for looking, I appreciate comments.

Thank you both!  Your comments make be sure I was right about the colors.  The strands looked awful together, separating really worked with the gold pearls.  Sometimes a project just jumps out at you and says make me!

Wow, your color intuition was great!  Your wirewraps are also very precise and go very well with the marbles/stones.

Thanks everyone.  I couldn't do links at all so I took a class.  The teacher deserves the credit, she sat with me until I understood.  I can do links better then stringing!  I love making jewelry and I appreciate such kind remarks it helps!  I gave the necklace to my mother-in-law, she liked it.

What I like most about this style of necklace is that it won't fall apart.  You don't need metal beads like you do when doing bead strings.  Unfortunately carpel tunnel is a possible side effect.

Hope to see your wire work soon.
