I have never posted on this forum before...be gentle (lol).

I decided to show off the area I am in some ways most proud of... my beginnings of a garden. We have had unusually warm weather this year so I used that time to get ahead. It's already grown quite a bit from these pictures...hope it stays that way!

Behold...my plantings!

I have an identical row of tomatoes...we used hoops to wean them out to the outdoors....

Rhubarb with my hand for reference of size

Lettuce and onions

My dad built the cold frame from an unwanted door and scraps. It gave me lettuce by March!

Chive blossoms that have become chive vinegar

Blossoming sage behind the chives

Spinach!

Kidney bean sprout! Hope I get lots, I love chili!

This year's experiment crop, sweet potatoes!

Not edible, but pretty!

Grape vines that will turn into wine for next year!

On the porch is lemon balm, aloe, and mints in pots.

We also planted but didn't get pics of watermelon, 2 different squashes, loofa plants, corn, parsley, basil, asparagus, and onions. And I already have a baby green pepper on the plants!

Hope you enjoyed your "visit" to my garden! C&C welcome!  Cheesy

Thanks for sharing. I love to see other peoples gardens. I hope to someday have a real yard and expand my little garden.

Your garden is fantastic!  What a great variety you've got growing.  You'll need to keep us updated throughout the season.
