Juniper did great with her tutorial for the skirt. Silly me had been looking for a pattern for a 6-panel skirt (I have ones for 4 & 8 ) but never realized that drafting one would be so simple.

I love the colors too, though I'm still on the fence about the color blocking on the top.

It is Kwik Sew #2694 without the sleeves, and color blocked (just had to make the back piece into 2 pieces), and to save fabric I did a mock overlap (originally the two front pieces are the same and overlap, for mine I cut one at an angle and sewed it to to other front - same effect basically since when I've used this pattern before I've sewn the overlap shut so I don't flash everyone)

The great attention to detail really caught my eye.  The buttons on top of each godet.  The fine finishing - everything is topstitched so neatly, cleanly and edges have a nice press.  Great details on the bag - the mix of fabrics blends so well.  The overall look is fab and so toghether.  It is bright and spritely, just right for a pixie!  Best wishes on getting the head-band to work as you desire.  It sounds like a cool accent for the outfit.  Oh, a thought , if you have enough fabric left - a triangle head scarf with a bias tie would also be a fun head piece.
