hi clothing boards! i painted this sweatshirt! (mods: i wasn't sure where to put this, please tell me if i need to move it!)

i got this a while ago at american apparel. while it has served me well in the potato-couture area, it has gotten a little dingy over the years. a little paint here, a little glitter there, and suddenly it's a mess. i decided i'd paint a phrase on it to give it some pizzazz and cover up some stains, and i found this on someone else's pinterest. the sweatshirt now reads: IF YOU CAN READ THIS, I AM AFK. (afk is gamer-speak for "away from keyboard") i thought it was so clever.

i just used black acrylic paint. a general rule i abide by is if it stains stuff pretty well, it can be used for fabric painting.

excuse the mess... cleaning isn't a priority around here.

Maybe I should paint this on my husband's underpants. Or tattoo it on his backside. Cheesy

One thing I'm curious about:
...it has served me well in the potato-couture area...
Potato couture? Is that something you wear while you're cooking potatoes?

wifeofbath- actually, i call it my potato couture because it large and essentially makes me look like a potato. (also, this is a reference to a line from the most recent season of rupaul's drag race... dork alert...)
