thanks guys.  well, it was a really big sweatshirt, so i made most of the skirt from the sleeves, but i had to use a little bit of the teal sweatshirt to make it go all the way around.  the teal part is covered in the front by the leaves, so you can't tell i used a different color.

also, i sewed the sleeves onto the top horizontally instead of vertically.  (i sewed the sleeves together at the armpit and the sleeves met on the other side, joined by a small piece of the teal fabric, covered by the leaves) does that make sense?
