This piano hinge book was fun to make!  I just put lots of colors together and created a Sewing Journal.

One great thing about this style of bookbinding is that it opens flat.  That makes it easier to use in a journal where you paste samples.  Try it, they are a little frustrating when you weave the dowels but it is worth it.

Thank you for looking at the tutorial!  Let me know if you have any trouble.  Opening the signature really helps to slide the dowels through.  I found instructions for the piano hinge book in Cover to Cover by Shereen LaPlantz.  I can't wait to see what you create.
