not quite as exciting as my scrap dress, but i am still very proud of how this turned out.

somehow this took me over a day and a half to make. it was the back. i had no idea what i wanted to do with it. & then i was inspired by the wonderful vivifromage.

besides the usual refashion, i also dipped this in a strong tea solution for about an hour. (the beige fabric was actually a very bright white) unfortunately that marvelous antique look isn't as prominent in the pictures. that same antique look is half the reason i love it so very much.

thanks for looking!

Fun! Great job taking t-shirt revamping to a higher level. The back is perfect.

gorgeous! love the back, every time i try to do something like that i always forget to measure it so that it'll cover my bra and then never end up wearing it, but i think you may have inspired me to try again cuz that looks super cute. i also love the little black, overskirt bit. adds so much too it and really makes it stand out from your standard t-shirt into a dress type thing

I say it IS as exciting as the pink and black dress, even if the colors do not jump out at you so much. I love the shape of the dress, it looks awesome on you... and the detail on the back is just darling! Very well done! Grin

Love the dress, especially the back of the shirt! I wouldn't have thought to dye a white shirt in tea, but it makes sense considering I spill tea on my white tank tops everyday. Cheesy

the shirt actually wasn't white, but gray already. somehow the tea didn't take to it at all. but the other fabrics turned out fabulously!
