Last Summer I was in charge of a wedding shower at the church I was attending, so I decided I needed to make something appropriate for the event.  So I came up with these cake bites (cake pops without the sticks).  I followed bakerella's directions from her book, used cookie cutters to shape them, and tried my best to make the coating neat.  All in all everyone loved them, so I think they were a success.

Let me know what you think, I love making cake bites--just wish I could make the coating and sticks work better.

I think you did a great job!!! I tried to make Bakerellas cupcake bites and I found it hard. Your coating looks very thick. I think I'd just dunk them all in the chocolate and when they are hardened put some tinted, melted chocolate in a plastic bag, snip off the corner (a small hole) and just "paint" the flowers, bow ties, etc. For the sticks I read that if you dip the stick in the melted chocolate then refrigerate then they stay in better.
Anyway, if they were all gone then that is your testimony to a great success!! Thanks for sharing.
