What lovely packages.

I prepared my packages this morning and was taking lots of pictures, so as soon as I received I also took pictures, but I don't know where to put them.

The crazy thing is that I spent all morning sewing and then I got the most amazing sewing package after I taped up my packages.

Will drop off packages tomorrow. So excited for phoenixfiredesigns and lindyv321 to get them.

The good news is Mom has had her mastectomy and came through it well - the bad news is I didn't end up with as much crafting time as with her last hospital stay so I still need to get started on my last claim. I am not over claiming this month... nope, not me... well at least not today. I hope.

Can you believe they send a 72 year old woman home 23 hours after having a mastectomy? 1 single night in the hospital and a quick explanation of how to work the drainage tubes in her chest and off you go.

Sending positive thoughts for your mom Averia. To send her home one day, after an operation of that size, is awful. Hope she's comfortable at home and getting the rest she needs.

My honey and I happened to go to the Asian Market on Saturday and I found all kinds of awesome chocolate at a reasonable price!  I got a Kinder bar and a Ritter Sport bar, yum!

I think it's just been a really slow month!  I have two outstanding claims ATM but could probably swing a supply package.  I will have to go check out the threads

It's definitely been a slow month, claim-wise. I'm struggling with one of my claims but almost finished with another. I am hopping to get a little more progress before I make a third claim, but we'll see how it goes.

after a sewing machine breakdown, lindy has very kindly let me change what I am claiming her for (to some hooplas i can sew by hand) - but now i am concentrating on getting those done before i make any more claims... and by then i think i will be in the midst of revision hell for my big end of module coursework project so I will be trying to keep swapping to a minimum but hopefully I will be able to claim a couple of people for supply parcels if nothing else I love spending time putting parcels together for people
