This is my very first wire wrapped Agate Geode slice. I never did anything like this before and it's one of my all time favorite pieces. I had a lot of geode slices laying around and I wanted to do something with them and I got a idea to turn them into wire wrapped seahorses. Easier said then done lol. It took me over 2 hours to make this one but I like the way it turned out. It was very fun to make.

This wire wrapped seahorse is beautiful - you really enhanced the pendant with all your detail - What a great job you did, and I cannot believe it is your first of these!  You're a natural at this craft.   Cheesy

You say it took you "over two hours" to make???  I could have spent two months...and 200 yards of wire...and I still not gotten anywhere close to making something as lovely as this sweet seahorse you whipped out in less than a few hours!

Love the seahorse!  You did a great job capturing the details of these wonderful creatures.

PS - I, too,  think a frog would be super cute  Smiley

I was so fascinated by this project that I had to try it myself! I have posted the result on my gallery. Because I have a lot of agate slices in different shapes, I have planned to make more animals. My next one will be a turtle.

This is very cool.  I like the originality of making the sea horse from something that doesn't look like a sea horse.

It looks like an art piece that took way longer than 2 hours to design much less create. If this is only your first project like this, I can't wait to see what you do next!
