Hi everyone,

I'm loving all of the projects in progress.

I can't wait until I have time to get back to my crafts. My son and I are making a music room/bedroom in the basement. Finishing a basement is a pain. He moved up here shortly after us, and his music career is already starting to take off a lot more then it could in Missouri. He will be on a live and local radio show next week. Indie performers get more exposure here.  Smiley We are also building some kind of recording booth downstairs. Once that is all done, I'll have my craft room/office back. I got some wool as an early birthday present. There will be yarn in my shop!

LL, that's so neat to hear that about your son! Smiley

Is it too early to ask if we're having an STS holiday round?

HI, EVERYONE!!!  I'm starting to get back into the crafty groove again, FINALLY.  Been AWOL since a couple months before my surgery, and I'm finally ready to get back into crafts again.  Been stretchin' my legs on a couple djembe drum bags, will be making some new linen pants and some other quickie clothing items for me and the Mrs shortly.

Surgery was a TOTAL success, 66lbs lost to date Smiley  Going strong at the gym, pounds are falling off weekly and not coming back!  Hence, the need for new clothing mentioned above.

Is STS on hold still right now?  I haven't thumbed through the previous pages to check it out, and I notice there is no current round in the swaps board right now.  When will we be starting up again?  I think I may be returning with a whole new shop Smiley

I am glad I am not the only one wondering that.  Smiley I have Christmas on the mind as I have started crafting/collecting for Christmas. I hope to start a stocking tomorrow.

I would love to swap for things kids could do in the car on a long car trip (3 girls ages 5-12). I can knit, crochet or trade yarn.

Thanks, everyone Smiley  I'm super stoked with how I'm going along!

So...I'm guessing we are still on a break with STS seeing as there's not really any current crafty talk and 'shop updates'.  Hope to be back in when we get started again...provided the hurricane doesn't blow my house away in a few days Sad

Ok, so atsuko and I were berry-picking today and want to know if anyone is interested in the holiday-special-sts-swap this year? If so, is one month a good crafting length? Ie mid Oct-mid Nov?
