Yes, definitely not ALL holiday-themed offerings, so that those of us who aren't shopping for gifts or observing the holidays can still find nice things to claim!  Smiley But for "gifts", anything that is nicely handmade (such as anything you make, Avesthel  Kiss) or supplies that look new can be fair game; it doesn't have to be holiday- or seasonally-themed to be a great gift.

And yes, offerings from quick-and-easy stocking-stuffers all the way up to adult-sized lace items would be possible, with the varying point values. Because this variety might be tricky in terms of pricing, and because points wouldn't be rolling over for so many months, maybe temporarily raising the maximum price of offerings up from 3 points?
Just some thoughts.

I'm living/working in Yosemite Nat'l Park til further notice! Blogging about it here. No swapping for me, and minimal crafting time, for the coming months. Graduated from library school! That sums things up for now.

In answer to the how to post photos...thank you for the suggestion, but:  DH & DS who are far more computer saavy than I am, plus many generous people on Craftster have mightily tried (In the case of DH & DS, for over two hours at one point!  Undecided) to explain to me how to take and post photos, but we just can't figure it out.

I know that when I am in the 'Geezer' swap, atsuko/Underthemountain took my e-mails and posted the photos for me.

I know that would mean more work for anyone that might offer to do so, but it's a thought for us "camera-less" or non-computer saavy people.

I've been in a bit of a crafting slump. Every project I started seemed to go nowhere. I finally got it together and started an Aran weight wisp with yarn from one of my frogged projects. Nice and easy. Now, if only I'll have enough yarn to finish it.

Next, I'm thinking of making a Holding Hands, Feeding Ducks scarf from the yarn pirate yarn I received in this swap. (Why do I buy these things when I know I won't wear the colours? Why? Why?) Unless anyone has any better suggestions.

As to things I'd like to buy, I'm still after a purple Winterberry. I think I had two people express an interest in making it but nothing was settled. Lxm and A2K I think?

I'm working on back to school sweaters for my bff's little guy who is going to kindergarten this year!  So exciting.  I'm making one for his little sis, too.  Cheesy  I don't remember what a winterberry is, but if lxm can't get to it, Sansa, I might be up for it!

More in-progress teasers:

felted table runner

scrap fabric leaves (can be assembled into larger projects, or not)

wacky quilt top  (will probably be offered in top form and not finished)

That is runner going to be lovely PW!
Love the quilt top too!

Today we're having a chili party.  Smiley  I've been wanting to have some chili for a while now. Hopefully there are enough spice levels for everyone.  Smiley We have a wicked hot pepper from my sis' garden that we'll chop up if anyone is game for burning their mouth off.  I don't know the name, but it is alot hotter than a scotchbonnet.  Smiley
