Aw, thanks for all the kind Bday wishes!  Smiley  Had a crazy day.  Lana's class pool party was cancelled because of impending showers.  Since it was a last minute thing the kids didn't have a lunch so we went over at lunch time to feed them.  Smiley  Much merriment ensued.
John made me a nice dinner per my request: spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, soda!  We're having cake now.  Smiley  Come and have some everyone!

A fiber dyeing mystery!  Do you think there's a novel in this?  I'm looking for something to do.  ha ha (just kidding -- I have enough on my plate which is probably why I made these bizarre connections -- dyeing - dieing - murder mystery . . .  Okay, I'll get more therapy if you insist!).

posts like this are why I LOVE Craftster-folk  Smiley

posts like this make me sad to think about leaving!

mr house and I are having a rotten time house hunting and I think I am going to take at least one round off. If there is anything you are dying for (har har har!) in my shop let me know!
I will swap for any good ju ju or house hunting tips....also yarn.

I have been doing little micro dying projects for my beekeeper's quilt. It's been going really well and I hope to actually start sewing them together soon. I think I must have over a hundred cells. I need to count.

lxm, I know there is some saint whose statue you are supposed to bury in your yard when you are selling your house - maybe there is one for buying a house? I rent so I dunno... Smiley

Saint Joseph is the saint for house selling -- hasn't worked for us.  Cheesy  Saint Andrew helps you find things.  Maybe he can help you find a house?

It seems like finding isn't the problem - is there a saint for acquisition? Or maybe winning?

I still need to make my high performance computing shrine, I have been accumulating things for it (ibm fortran punchcards, old rsa keys). I need to find a saint for computers! Or archives (the data storage archives are one of the biggest problems), there has got to be a saint for archives.
