When my daughter got married she didn't want any DIY because of time, effort, the scale of the wedding (over 350 guests) and so forth. Of course, I was dying to do just anything for my little girls wedding...so almost at the last minute things started "popping" up like....
She decided on having the nieces being flower girls which means flower baskets.
I ran to town and bought 3 baskets 2 days before the wedding(she couldn't find nor had the time.lol) Then decorated them. I sent poor hubby to hand pick the flowers....white and purple ( her wedding colors) in the early hours of the morning.
Here is what I came up with.

Everything came from my stash! Lucky!
I also got to make a ring bearer pillow. Here is what I came up with:
I looked for something of my Mothers and found her silk dressing gown. Perfect.

Measure twice, cut once;

This is what I made from it:

But noooooo. Little darlin' forgot to tell me that there is an exchange of rings, so....

So now she could pick from two.

We also made a DIY Chuppah sending squares to family members to personalize. (MIL's idea) Cool idea and a lot of work but what to do with it after? Who want's a quilt with glitter on it? I loved the idea though!!!
Hope you enjoyed seeing a little of my daughters wedding. Thank you for looking. (and reading this far down.)
