I've been showing off my felt badges on facebook, and lots of my friends have made nice comments. One of them though, has just had a baby and they've called him Finn. I always love a good pun, so I offered to make them a mobile, and this is what I came up with.



My arty photo, taken more from a babies point of view.



And the more practical photo where you can see how it's put together.

As you can see, I used 5 different colours, combining 2 on each fish. The side fins are only sewn on at one end so they can stick out. The bubbles were glued onto the strings before I sewed them so they would stay in place.

The hardest part was getting the threads worked out so it would be balanced.
