This is my hand etched wine bottle luminary. I hand etched flowers and a bird on the wine bottle using only a Dremel. I cut the wine bottle using a ice and candle method that I seen done on Youtube. I love doing creative and unique things and so I taught myself how to etch wine bottles. I love making luminaries because I looooove the way the candle light shines through the bottle. It very pretty and relaxing ^_^

Designs are so delicate, and beautiful.  Smiley

Do you freestyle the design, or do you draw it on the bottle before beginning?

Thank you....I design the image on paper first then I use Saral Transfer paper to transfer the image to the bottle. I then etch the bottle using the Dremel. I wanted to etch freestyle lol but I am afraid of messing it up. One day I will be brave enough to freestyle ^_^
