I made a couple of things recently and wanted to show them off!

I made this girl/deer papercutting for sweetyetevil in the 4x6 Rd. 2 swap.   I used a template from http://papercutting.blogspot.com/ and altered it slightly since I am a novice at papercutting.   The entire piece is only 4x6, so the girl is small!    Cheesy   I'm kind of proud of it, since I had never attempted to paper cut before signing up for the swap.  I went through several practice pieces before this finished piece.

You can't really tell in the photo, but the solid colored papers have a metallic sheen to them.  I layered all three papers you see on some cardstock and inked the edges to give it an aged look.

Also, I made this castle as a practice piece.  I used a template from this site:  http://www.papercutters.info/SA/Galleries/index.php?dir=./Back%20Street%20Designs%20Pattern%20Books and cut it out of a pattered paper in a creamy yellowish color.

The castle hasn't been mounted on anything yet.   Everything was cut using Xacto knives and fine tipped paper scissors.

C+C is more than welcome and encouraged!
