Felt Badge Swap Round 2!! (SU CLOSED, SO July 9)

Officially finished with Kimble's two badges!  YAY!  I will send them off tomorrow (and pray that they have a swift journey!).  Then I can start working on luckdragon's!  Yay again!

I'm all set to start stitching, just waiting on my order of felt to get here. 

Going to be very busy this week though. My friend came over last night wanting me to do a project for her. I said sure, then I found out what she wanted. Full Native American Grass Dance regalia for a powwow later this month. I only have a little over a week to make it! Ahhh! Needless to say I'm only doing the bare minimum, but it's still going to be a crazy busy week of sewing. I'm excited! 

Pray I survive! lol

All the felt is cut out and ready to go!  Alas, I am away this weekend but Monday night it will be all about sewing!!!

That's good to know -- especially as all the speed stitchers in this thread have me repeatedly checking the SO date to make sure I haven't misread it.

Yesterday was very productive, I got the felt and needles I needed and, on the way back from the craft store, thought of a great way to fix a construction problem I was having!

But I still can't find a type of fabric I need, even thought I know it's somewhere in my stash.

I have decided what I will be making, and I just got back from buying all my supplies.  One badge will be straight forward and fun to stitch; the other will be complicated and I have no idea how I am going to make it work, but I'm going to try.  fingers crossed

Well, I THOUGHT I knew what I was going to do, then tonight I went to a yard sale and found a felting kit, so my game plan has now changed! This is definitely alright by me. I made a 'test' badge tonight and it turned out pretty good for my first try, so I'm excited to see how things play out
