leafty fairy outfit

All of it was bought from Savers. Ugly 80's dress ($4.99), fleece-like blanket/sheet/thing ($1.49) and a huge bag of fake leaves ($3.49). I'm a big fairy nut so I decided to make a fae-ish outfit.

Top before:


I cut it out into this shape...

...used my hot glue gun to atatch all the leaves and cut holes along the back to thread the laces through.

Bottom before:


I cut up the bottom, sewed up the side and gave it a waistband.

Wow! the dress dosent even look a lil bit like the original, you did a really good job. I think my favorite part of it though is the corsset style back!

I love faries too, i have an awesome lil pewter fairy that hangs off my cars rearview mirror.

I love the top! Thats a really good Idea with use of the leaves.  Leafs. 

Anyway it reminds me of peter pan vs nature.  fun!
